Important House Rules

- Non-Smoking Property: Villa Herckenrode is a non-smoking property. Smoking is allowed outside only, provided that cigarette butts are deposited in the ashtray.

- Respect for the Neighborhood: The villa is residential, which means that silence outside must be respected between 10pm and 7am. Parties and noisy gatherings are not allowed. Anyone planning to drink heavily or cause a nuisance is kindly requested to find another vacation rental. Violation of these rules may result in early termination of the rental agreement without compensation.

This was our second time staying here and it was super. Very quiet and convenient to Hasselt and other local destinations. We plan to come back again soon!

Had fantastic weekend with 2 families with children between 2 and 8. Lydia asked us in advance how old the children were so we could prepare toys for them. House is very spacious and clean, kitchen and bathrooms fully equipped. Highly recommended, especially with the abbey nearby where there are great things to do with children. We were also allowed to stay longer on Sunday, so we had a nice afternoon in the garden and on the sunny terrace. Highly recommended this house!

We had a wonderful week at Lydia's house. The house was exceptionally well equipped for families and the secure garden with play equipment was absolutely wonderful for children and adults. The house had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay with fantastic little details such as shower gel, shampoo and enough toilet rolls for the whole week. We highly recommend families. Lydia was the perfect host and very responsive to all questions.

Super warm welcome, little gifts that made the stay so much more enjoyable, toys and fun picked out for our girls, very smooth and pleasant communication! In short, TOP!
